Amplitude Zone Plate in Adaptive Optics: Proposal of the Principle

چکیده

One of the main elements in hardware-based adaptive optics systems is a deformable mirror. There quite large number such mirrors based on different principles and exhibiting varying performance. They constitute significant portion cost final optical devices. In this study, we consider possibility replacing an mirror with amplitude Fresnel zone plate, implemented using digital light-processing matrix. Since matrices are widely used mass industry products (light projectors), their costs batches 1–2 orders magnitude lower than inexpensive mirrors. Numerical modeling for scanning coherence tomography system presented. It shown that wavefront distortions high spatial frequencies amplitudes can be corrected plate. Digital holographic adaptive optics for ocular imaging: proof of principle.

An adaptive optics (AO) ocular imaging system is proposed that is based on the principles of digital holography and dispenses with the wavefront sensor and wavefront modulator of conventional AO systems, thus reducing the optomechanical complexity and cost while increasing speed and resolution.
